About Inspire Ability
Servicing the Northeastern Okanagan & Metro Vancouver Areas
In the fall of 2024, after moving back to her home in Interior BC, Marina Roy founded Inspire Ability with a vision to make occupational therapy more accessible in Revelstoke and surrounding areas. Recognizing the gap in services, she created a practice that delivers inclusive, personalized care in clients’ homes, workplaces, and schools.
Today, Inspire Ability is a collaborative team of skilled therapists who share that vision. By combining our strengths and continually expanding our skills through ongoing education, we provide up-to-date, effective, and compassionate care.
We work closely with individuals, families, and community partners to remove barriers and promote independence. Our commitment to collaboration—within our team and with those we serve—drives our mission to make occupational therapy accessible, personalized, and impactful for all.

What is Community-Based Occupational Therapy?
Community-based occupational therapy goes beyond clinic walls—it meets individuals where they live, work, and learn. At Inspire Ability, we work directly in the community, helping people build the skills they need in real-life environments. Whether it’s adapting a home for accessibility, supporting return-to-work goals, assisting students in school settings, or helping individuals regain independence in daily activities, we focus on practical, meaningful solutions tailored to each person’s needs.
We collaborate with a wide range of partners, including:
✔ Insurance companies – Assisting individuals with rehabilitation and return-to-work planning
✔ Long-term care facilities – Enhancing residents’ quality of life, fitting wheelchairs and promoting independence
✔ Revelstoke School District 19 – Supporting students with diverse learning and accessibility needs

Expanding Our Reach
As local service providers have come alongside us, we have expanded into more rural communities throughout the Northeast Interior of BC, helping to make occupational therapy more accessible. Most recently, we have expanded into the Lower Mainland, where we are excited to offer our services in Metro Vancouver.
